This album contains a big variety of feelings, atmospheres and sound landscapes. All based around the Handpan.
It's a personal expression of my journey and my experience
with heart, mankind, spirit and nature.

In my album "Trance-ZEN-Dance"
there are some solo pieces but mostly Handpan-centered arrangements with other instruments like Djembe, Didgeridoo, Cajon, Rattles and singing.

A really special thing about this album is that I recorded lots of different sounds in the woods and used them to mix rhythms and atmospheres.
So the music establishes a uniqe connection to mother nature.

For a while I play three Handpans together.
These Handpans are custom made to fit perfectly together.
They open a wide range of possibilities to compose complex melodies.
These three Handpans are made by Ryo Sonobe in Japan.
He is one of the best Handpan-builders in the world.
I already played many different top Handpans but my favorite is still Sonobe.
The sound is voluminous, round and warm. Precise tuning and wonderful overtones.
